Question regarding some changes Race/Class limitations
I'm not a fan of change as you've probably seen from my history of posts if you are interested. I believe that regardless of what happens , the billzards will do what they'll do. I have an open question that I would want to see debates over. For and against. to be honest, i'm biased regarding the issue at hand because i am a blood elf hater and I am O.G Horde.
Do we want to keep dynamic between the class and race in the same way? Some of you already know. You shouldn't have to stop in cata. The majority of race's can choose to take classes. Dwarf Sham's. Tauren Pally's Human hunters, etc.
The most important balance argument is balance hunters using EMFTS or WOTLF, etc.
Personally, I'm not concerned about what they do on this issue. I'm curious to know how people think about it since it wasn't discussed at all. I looked around. Maybe not enough to find, all I came across was General chat-related stuff.
The latest class and race combinations that have been already announced for Dragonflight are...
-Highmountain Tauren Mage
-Highmountain Tauren Priest
Highmountain Tauren Rogue
-Lightforged Draenei Rogue.
This ratio suggests that there are at the very least four additional unannounced race/class combinations for the alliance to be announced.
What was the cause? My theory is that there was that it was a paradigm shift in the Rogue. Particularly, it's is no longer a stealth class but instead the class that had things such as Assassins and Sawsbucklers, as well as, Ruffians, and the similar. Therefore, you're no longer an Assassin from Tauren. You're an Tauren Ruffian and, due to gameplay factors the character you play choose to become a meme.
I think the most fair, secure and honest option is to maintain the status quo. However, Blizzard has recently shown that it will not be for the foreseeable future and we haven't much say on the issue.
